You’re not alone here.

Dear Reader,

If you’ve found your way here, I want you to know—you’re not alone.

Maybe you’re exhausted. Maybe you’re furious. Perhaps you’re grieving what public education could be, should be, but somehow never entirely is. I know that feeling well.

I’m a teacher. I’m neurodivergent. And I’ve spent years inside a system that often forgets the students who need the most care—and burns out the educators who care the most.

This site was born from that ache. But also from love. And hope. And a stubborn belief that words, when used truthfully and boldly, can still spark change.

Here, you’ll find:

  • Reflections on living and teaching with ADHD and autism
  • Clear-eyed takes on book bans, bad policies, and who they hurt
  • Stories from educators who can’t always speak up—but still deserve to be heard
  • Space to connect—through comments, Q&As, and shared experience
  • Resources, activities, and ideas to support neurodivergent learners in tangible ways

This site is for all of us.

So come in. Get comfortable. Raise your voice.

There’s room for you here.

With fire and hope,
Levlyn Emet Quill
